Purpose of the HaleCabs app
HaleCabs is a mobile application for booking licensed taxis and private hire across Ireland, and for licensed drivers to receive and accept jobs. Riders use HaleCabs to request a trip, see an upfront fare, track the assigned driver, and pay. Drivers use HaleCabs to go online, accept jobs, navigate to pickup and drop-off, and manage payouts.
Riders and drivers can sign in with Google to create or access a HaleCabs account. We receive your Google name, email address, and profile photo so we can identify you. HaleCabs does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or Google Contacts.

HaleCabs is a mobile app that connects riders and licensed drivers for taxi and private hire trips across Ireland. Riders use the HaleCabs app to book trips with upfront fares; drivers use it to receive and accept jobs. We operate across Dublin, Galway, Cork, Limerick, and the wider Republic — airport runs, city hops, corporate accounts, and longer intercity journeys.
Unlike platforms that hide take-rates behind surge and add-on fees, we publish rider plans (Free and Pro) and driver plans (Free and Premium) in euros — with a yearly option that includes two months free. You see the fare before you confirm a trip. Drivers see what they keep before they accept a job. When something goes wrong, you speak to a team in Ireland — not a chatbot loop.
We work with licensed SPSV and private hire drivers, insured vehicles, and the compliance standards the NTA expects. Whether you book once a month or drive full-time, the economics should be readable before you rely on us.

Licensed, checked drivers
