Choosing Hale Access is not a cosmetic label. We route those trips to drivers and vehicles that can take a wheelchair, and we give those requests priority in matching so you are not left waiting behind standard city jobs.
Book ahead when you can
Advance bookings give us time to reserve a suitable WAV, confirm ramp access, and note companions or luggage before pickup.
Needs noted on the trip
Tell us about your wheelchair or mobility aid, any companion, and luggage. We pass that to the driver so the right vehicle turns up.
Human help if plans change
If a WAV is delayed or unavailable, Ireland-based support will rebook or explain options — we do not silently swap you onto a car that cannot take you.

Pickups and drop-offs need to be within the Republic of Ireland — including Dublin, Galway, Cork, Limerick, Waterford, and regional towns. We confirm coverage when you book; cross-border trips outside Ireland are not part of our service.
Free is pay-as-you-go with the fare shown before you confirm. Pro is a paid plan in euros that discounts your fares, adds airport credits, and unlocks priority support. Pay monthly or yearly (two months free on yearly). You can cancel before the next renewal and keep booking on Free — there is no long contract.
For most city rides you will see the price before you confirm in the app or over the phone. Airport transfers and pre-booked jobs are usually a fixed fare, so the total does not climb if you hit traffic on the M50 or around the city centre.
Yes. Tell us your flight number when you book. We track the flight, wait if you are delayed, and can meet you in arrivals with a name board if you ask. Standard waiting time is included; extended waiting after that may be charged as explained at booking.
We set up your company with the people who are allowed to book, agreed payment terms, and a monthly invoice with a trip list suitable for expenses. Get in touch with how many staff travel and how often — we will propose something that fits how you work.
Yes. Drivers are licensed for SPSV or private hire in Ireland, background-checked, and driving insured vehicles that meet regulatory standards. We do not assign unchecked drivers to bookings.
You can cancel free of charge up to the cutoff shown when you book. Need a different time or address? Call us or email support and we will usually sort it, subject to driver availability.
Most trips can be paid by card. Cash may be available on selected bookings — we will confirm when we call back. Company accounts are invoiced monthly. Subscribers see plan fees and ride spend separately on their summary.
Yes — mention child seats, buggies, or large luggage in the booking notes or when you call. We will assign a suitable vehicle where available. For wheelchair access, choose Hale Access in the app or book ahead so we can match a WAV.
Hale Access trips are offered first to drivers with wheelchair-accessible vehicles. We do not treat them as ordinary city jobs that any nearby car can take. Advance bookings help us reserve a WAV; on-demand requests are still prioritised to eligible drivers when one is online near you.
Booking ahead is strongly recommended, especially for airports, hospitals, and peak times, so we can confirm a WAV and any waiting time. Same-day and on-demand Access bookings are available when a suitable driver is online — we will say so before you confirm.
Most manual wheelchairs and many folding or compact power chairs fit our WAVs. Larger power chairs or scooters may need a specific vehicle — tell us the approximate size and whether the chair stays occupied during travel when you book, and we will confirm suitability.
Yes. Say how many people are travelling and whether anyone needs a seat beside or behind the wheelchair space. We match a WAV with enough seated capacity so companions are not left behind.
We will tell you before you confirm, or contact you if availability changes. Support can suggest a later pickup, a different area, or another booking channel — we will not assign a non-accessible car for a Hale Access request without speaking to you first.
Access trips use the Hale Access fare shown before you confirm — the same upfront pricing approach as our other tiers. You see the price in the app or when we confirm a phone booking; there is no hidden accessibility surcharge after the trip.
